Dani Crosby joined the firm in 2000.  Before joining Ashburn & Mason, Dani served as a law clerk for Anchorage Superior Court Judges Eric Sanders and Brian Shortell and worked as a litigation associate for Preston Gates & Ellis.

Dani maintains an active litigation practice involving employment law, business matters, and oil and gas disputes.  She handles various litigation matters for the University of Alaska.  Dani also maintains a pro bono practice, and recently obtained asylum for a political refugee from Myanmar. 

Dani has represented clients in administrative, superior court, Alaska Supreme Court, and federal district court proceedings, and has worked on the following reported cases:

  • South Anchorage Concerned Coalition, Inc. v. Municipality of Anchorage Bd. of Adjustment, 172 P.3d 774 (Alaska 2007)
  • Casey v. Semco Energy, Inc., 92 P.3d 379 (Alaska 2004)
  • Carr-Gottstein Properties, Ltd. Partnership v. Benedict, 72 P.3d 308 (Alaska 2003)
  • Getchell v. Lodge, 65 P.3d 50 (Alaska 2003)
Dani serves as a member of the Alaska Bar Association Fee Arbitration Committee and was appointed by the Alaska Supreme Court to the Civil Rules Committee.  She has also served as President of the Alaska Bar Foundation.

In law school, Dani was a Thomas More Scholar and served as an Associate Editor of the Gonzaga Law Review.
